HVACR Design Training

In the world of HVAC, most of us are familiar with installation and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment and systems. However, when it comes to information on how load calculations are done, how equipment and ductwork are sized, and energy and building codes? That knowledge can be sorely lacking.

When you’ve mastered HVAC design using ACCA approved software, you unlock an entirely new level for your HVAC business. Rather than relying on outsourcing HVAC design service providers like ourselves at Marrs, you’re able to complete these tasks yourself, cutting out a major expense for your business!

We understand that learning about HVAC Design may be a daunting task for some. The software is complicated, and, for some, it’s about as clear as mud.

Marrs HVACR Design training

Not to mention, most of us don’t have the time or resources to get a formal HVAC Design education from a college or university! That’s why we at Marrs HVACR Design have created an accessible, easy to understand, and affordable option for all of our hardworking HVAC service providers interested in leveling up their business with HVAC design.

How You Can Benefit from HVAC Design Training

It’s for those people who are not looking to just install a few units a month here, sign a few maintenance contracts there, but rather, are interested in taking their business to new heights. You want to grow your list of clients in a way that’s sustainable, without ever sacrificing quality. With our exclusive training, you can streamline your process for providing HVACR load calculations and design for your clients, directly bypassing any third party HVAC design contractors, like Marrs. While we will miss you and your business, we’re excited to watch you level up!

This is a way to get an education while completely avoiding paying thousands of dollars or racking up student loan debt by enrolling in expensive associates or bachelor degrees programs at a brick and mortar college or university. Our training are budget-friendly, and we also offer bundles, meaning you can even enroll your employees! Rather than just offering installation, maintenance, and service, you open up your books to catering entirely to new construction. You become a one-stop-shop for high-ticket clients! Finally, use HVAC Design to increase your authority as an HVAC expert within the industry, and gain an upper-hand on your competition. Knowledge is power!

Our Courses

At the end of each course, you will receive a discount to extend the course, should you need more time to get everything done. In the future, you can expect us to release courses on international mechanical codes for 2009, 2012, 2015, and 2018. You can also expect courses on two other types of software: EnergyGauge, which is Florida’s own special, specific energy code software, and Title 24, California’s own special, specific energy code software. These courses will have the same structure and methodology at a great low price.

Why Marrs HVACR Design School

page separator
  • Accessible: Our design school is structured with downloads (design forms for a mock home) and videos. This way, you’re able to stop and start the videos. In traditional, in person classes, if the instructor is going to fast, there’s no way to stop and rewind time! You’ll have to wait in line after class to ask any questions you may have. What a pain! If life gets in the way, you have access to the class for 4 weeks so you can come back to it when you have time again. Should you have questions, we also offer a weekly live webinar, similar to office hours, where you can ask any questions you may have.
  • Flexible: These courses are not static; if anything changes with the software, we will update our lessons and add more quick tips to reflect this information. This way, you’re staying current with any updates to the software.
  • Monthly Subscriptions: If you’re interested in ongoing education for yourself or your employees, this is a great option! We add 2 new videos per week to quick tips, in addition to adding new courses in the future, as mentioned above.
  • Weekly Live Webinars with an Expert: Think of this as your Q&A time. If you have any aspect of the programs you just can’t seem to figure out, you can use these weekly webinars as a time to consult directly with David Marrs, who has been using WrightSoft since 1999 and has been in the HVACR industry for 24+ years.
  • Easy to Understand Information: It’s not just about what we’re teaching; it’s about HOW we’re teaching it. Each of our courses are organized using a specific methodology. We start with an introduction, moving to how you can organize yourself to get the most out of your course. Next, you’ll learn how to use the tools within the program, and in the next chapters you will begin designing a system for a home using the downloads that come with each course.
  • Downloadables: In addition to videos and weekly webinars, you’ll also receive downloadable design forms to follow along with David as he teaches you the intricacies of each design program. This includes R values, types of windows, the type of equipment to be installed, details of construction of walls and ceilings, and more, all critical for understanding how to meet energy codes and make your customers happy.
